Activity 1.1.3: Identifying Values

Activity Purpose:
· Identify what other countries value.
· Contrast it to what the US values.

A country’s currency is one way to tell what they value. Look at the following examples and list three things they value from the currency. Use internet research to study the countries.


1. In your blog, list the name and value of each currency. Below that list the three values.
2. Post an answer to each discussion group (one for each currency) and respond to the posts of other students
3. Last, but not least take out an US $1 and list three things about American values.
